Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to the www.asccp.org (ASCCP) and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to ASCCP include www.asccp.org and ASCCP. The ASCCP website is a news and information site. By using the ASCCP website, you agree to comply with and be bound by ASCCP’s Privacy Policy and Online Terms and Conditions that is incorporated herein by reference.  If you do not agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, you must immediately terminate use of the ASCCP website.

ASCCP may collect personally identifiable information. If you purchase ASCCP's products and services, we collect billing and credit card information at the time of payment, but our system does not retain credit card information after purchase. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction. ASCCP may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your gender. We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future. This information is kept indefinitely within a secure database. 

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by ASCCP. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the ASCCP website. 

ASCCP encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from ASCCP so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. ASCCP is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the ASCCP website.

Use of your Personal Information

ASCCP collects and uses your personal information by either registering for our site or participating in one of the ASCCP services.  Users may be required to provide their name, address, telephone number and email address. This information is used to verify stats with the ASCCP membership database, and to respond to inquiries and/or requests. 

ASCCP may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from ASCCP and its affiliates. ASCCP may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

ASCCP may sell, rent, or lease customer information to third parties (excluding emails), such as industry sponsors at ASCCP events. 

ASCCP may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, like the ASCCP Advisor, provide access to the Journal of Lower Genital Tract Disease, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to ASCCP, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Members have the option to be included in the Membership Directory, which is only visible to other ASCCP Members. From the Membership Directory, other members may access your personal data. 

ASCCP may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within ASCCP, in order to determine what ASCCP services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within ASCCP to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area. 

ASCCP will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on ASCCP or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of ASCCP; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of ASCCP, or the public.

 Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, and despite our efforts, ASCCP cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, or to or from our online products or services.

Children under Thirteen

ASCCP does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
