For the first time, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) will be teaming up with the International HPV Conference to offer a special CME course as part of the clinical workshop. ASCCP faculty will be Drs. Daron Ferris, Teresa Darragh, Charles Dunton, and Claudia Werner. Attendees of the conference should consider enrolling in the ASCCP track- it provides several great benefits!
1. A more detailed exposure to colposcopy (6 hours CME in the ASCCP track) than is offered in the main clinical workshop. Please watch for program updates on the website (www.hpv2005.org) as the conference nears!
2. Three additional CME hours of lunch time lectures and clinical cases with ASCCP faculty
3. Receive the ASCCPs outstanding textbook Modern Colposcopy Textbook and Atlas, Second Edition as the workshop syllabus. The Modern Colposcopy Textbook and Atlas is ASCCP's all-time, best selling educational teaching module and is ideal for the physician, resident, or advanced practice clinician who wishes to bridge the gap between the need for increased early detection of cervical, vaginal, and vulvar disease and the intensive education required for colposcopy. The module features a 700 page textbook with 1200 color plates and illustrations throughout. It also includes a corresponding CD-ROM of 20 cervical and vulvar case studies, as well as a DVD video depicting the instrumentation, procedural knowledge, and techniques used when performing colposcopy of the lower genital tract. In addition, the Modern Colposcopy book affords the option to receive an additional free 28.5 CME credits.
Take an ASCCP course and attend the international HPV conference at the same time! In addition to the colposcopy-intensive exposure that the ASCCP track provides, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a rich variety of sessions on HPV and HPV-associated lesions.
