The Anus

Since 2005, the ASCCP has produced a High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) course. The HRA course best serves those physicians and advanced practice clinicians who are participating in the health care of MSM, men and women with HIV disease, other at-risk groups, and women with HPV-related disease. This course is appropriate for health care providers in many fields, including family practice, internal medicine and infectious disease, gastroenterology, general surgery, colo-rectal surgery, gynecology and pathology. Those who are entry level or novice colposcopists or who desire a more general background on HPV- related anogenital disease are encouraged to participate in the first 2 days of the Comprehensive Colposcopy course, presented immediately before the HRA course begins. More advanced colposcopy practitioners and those interested in didactic and procedural training specific to HPV-related anal disease and HRA will benefit from the dedicated HRA portion of the course.

As of 7-9-08 the 2008 San Francisco, High Resolution Anoscopy course is CLOSED.
